Requirements for the Degree of Master of Science in Environmental Engineering

Students who have completed the necessary STEM work can arrange their program of study to achieve focus in a topic area. Listed below is a typical program for a student in the thesis option and for a student in the non-thesis project option.

* EVEN 6318 and EVEN 6301 maybe substituted for with selected electives for students interested in specialization. Students may select a sequence of elective courses to emphasize air quality, water quality, solid and hazardous waste management, ecological engineering, environmental and occupational health, or environmental management information systems. Electives may be selected in the area of interest with prior approval from their advisory committee and the Environmental Engineering Graduate Coordinator.
